Hi, I am Sammy Scott
I am an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, I studied through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York, and I am a qualified yoga teacher, specialising in the vinyasa style of yoga. I am passionate about the world of wellness. I can help empower and motivate you to find your own bio-individual way to a healthier lifestyle. From learning to incorporate a whole food, nutrient dense diet to finding a form of exercise that nourishes you both physically and mentally. To teaching you ways to prioritise mindfulness into your day to help you to be more present in any given moment, happier and more connected to yourself. To finding ways to incorporate, as a priority, self-care rituals that sustain and feed your desire for more balance in your life. Through my own personal wellness journey (learn more HERE), I have transformed my own health through diet and lifestyle changes, and I would love the opportunity to help you on your path to wellness, health and happiness too.

In essence we are ‘behaviour change ninjas’ (Dr. Rangan Chattergee).
We act as a guide and an accountability partner to our clients, helping them to create new, sustainable, and healthy habits.
A Health Coach is not…..
We are not a doctor, we do not diagnose conditions or prescribe medications.
We are not a personal trainer or drill sergeant - however we will work with you and support you in every way to achieve optimal wellness.
We are not a qualified nutritionist - we do not advocate for a specific diet, or put you on a strict eating regime.

I take time to actively listen to my client’s concerns, and these may not just be nutrition based. My approach is that ‘health’ is not only about the food that we put into our mouths, termed ‘Secondary Food’, but to a large degree also about ‘Primary Foods’. These are what nourish us off the plate, and form a holistic and multi-faceted approach to wellness, i.e. career, exercise, home cooking, relationships, spirituality, creativity and finances.
I align myself with the concept of ‘Bio-Individuality’ - we are all individuals and no one single diet and lifestyle will work for everyone.
I therefore take a bio-individualised, unbiased, non-judgemental approach to every client’s journey.
